Caregiving today is like smoking twenty years ago; a cool thing to do but it could cost you your health, your job and you career. The problem is, 38% of the work force are full time unpaid family caregivers. Without an effective elder care work place program, US employers stand to lose $17 to $33 billion from lost productivity associated with caregiving. Employers on this platform can enjoy happier, healthier and more productive employees who are family caregivers while reducing the cost of their health care premiums.
Caregiving Credentialing & Accreditation
In 2015 there were 5.9 persons to provide care to an older adult and to work and pay taxes that go to fund Medicare & Medicaid. On 2050, that ratio will decrease to 2.9:1. On this network individuals and providers will find innovative ways to ensure that elder care is standardized, accountable, delivered with integrity, compassion, advocacy, resourcefulness and excellence.
